Ignite Early Learning Centres are an established, family-owned business who have been operating since 2012. We have over 25 years’ experience within the childcare industry, with 4 of our centres located in Sydney.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated ECT educator to join our growing team 5 days per week in a permanent full-time capacity. Our high-quality education and care services are beautifully designed, boasting strong occupancy and a positive work environment.
The Role. As the ECT, your approach will focus on purposeful observation of the important development processes of each child. You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly is essential.

Key Responsibility Areas
- Planning and Programming
- Assist in Observation management
- Assist in overseeing daily room practices
- Ensure all compliance documentation is up to date
- Provide support and motivation to the centre staff
- Lead and develop a core group of educators
Min Requirement
- Previous experience as ECT or similar role
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA;
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- A current Working with Children Check and NSW Police Check
- A thorough working knowledge of Children’s services regulation, The Early Years Learning Framework and The National Quality Framework
- Passion and ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and colleagues
- Strong written and clearly spoken communication skills
- Your personal teaching philosophy
- Child protection certificate (CHCPRTOOO1/2) or willing to obtain
