As their business continues to grow, they're looking to appoint a Bid Coordinator who enjoys taking ownership of the tender process, improving the quality of submissions and working closely with project teams to help win work.

Our client is a progressive commercial builder that's built a reputation for delivering high-quality fit-out, refurbishment and adaptive re-use projects across Australia.

With more than 50 employees nationally and approximately 40 based in Sydney, they've grown through long-term client relationships, collaborative project delivery and a genuine commitment to quality rather than volume.

Their portfolio spans workplace, hospitality, retail, education, government, industrial, hotel and residential sectors, with projects typically ranging from $2 million to $25 million.

Current projects include luxury residential developments, heritage restorations, complex refurbishments and adaptive re-use projects, providing excellent exposure to technically interesting work across a diverse range of sectors.

The Opportunity





Reporting into the Pre-Construction team, you'll take ownership of coordinating high-quality tender submissions from start to finish.

This isn't simply an administrative coordination role. You'll become a trusted member of the team, working closely with Estimators, Project Managers and senior leaders to develop compelling submissions that showcase the capability of the business.

The current Bid Coordinator is progressing internally into a Contract Administrator role, providing an excellent opportunity for a structured handover and ongoing support as you settle into the position.

You'll also have the opportunity to continually improve the submissions process, enhance tender templates and help build a best-practice bid library that supports the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end tender submissions across multiple projects.

- Prepare, write and tailor submission content for individual opportunities.

- Maintain and develop the bid library and content database.

- Produce high-quality capability statements, tender documents and interview presentations.

- Work closely with Estimators, Project Managers and the wider Pre-Construction team to gather technical information.

- Improve the quality, consistency and presentation of submissions.

- Prepare documents using Adobe InDesign and other Microsoft Office applications.

- Bring a creative eye to layout, graphics and overall presentation.

- Coordinate submission deadlines and ensure tenders are delivered accurately and on time.





- Contribute ideas to continually improve the bids and submissions process.

About You

To be successful, you'll ideally bring:

- Previous experience as a Bid Coordinator, Bid Administrator, Marketing Coordinator or similar role within the construction, engineering, architecture or property sectors.

- Strong written communication and document presentation skills.

- Experience coordinating tender submissions and capability statements.

- Proficiency using Adobe InDesign.

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

- High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

- A proactive approach and willingness to continually improve processes.

- Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships across the business.

- A collaborative mindset and genuine desire to contribute to a growing team.
