We have an exciting opportunity for a professional Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to join our Whites Road Medical Centre clinic. Our family practice in Salisbury North is home to a team of 10 GPs and a exceptional care team of nurses, receptionists, and a Practice Manager, who all pride themselves on the quality care they provide.
We are part of the Better Medical network which is an owner and operator of high-quality general practice clinics across Australia. We passionately believe that primary care needs to be locally focused, and that’s why our group of practices are locally managed, regionally connected, and centrally supported.
What you will bring
Your experience in health care will enable you to perform a range of clinical duties including; immunisations, wound care management, assisting with minor surgical procedures, maintaining patient records, and effectively managing the recall process. Experience in General Practice will be viewed favourably.
You will also:
- Hold a current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Have the ability to work independently, but also be a reliable team player
- Provide excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Be self-motivated and possess a high standard of work values
- Show enthusiasm and initiative with opportunities for quality improvement
- Display empathy and understanding
- Understand client and staff confidentially
- Work with integrity and be reliable
- Can prioritise tasks and manage time
- Be committed to the brand and working arrangements
- Have robust written and verbal communication
