About Remax Doors

Remax Doors is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and service providers of industrial and commercial door systems. Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Victoria, we design and manufacture our own products locally — including high-speed rapid roller doors, sectional doors, folding doors, and a full range of specialised barrier solutions — serving clients across warehousing, logistics, food and beverage, cold storage, automotive, and healthcare.

Our service commitment doesn't end at installation. We maintain a national network of expert field technicians who keep our door systems operating at peak performance long after commissioning. As we expand our VIC presence, we're looking for an experienced technician to join the team covering Victoria.

The Role

This is a hands-on field role based across Melbourne Region. You will be responsible for the assistance of installation of Remax's range of industrial rapid roller doors and sectional door systems at commercial and industrial sites — including warehouses, distribution centres, cold storage facilities, food processing plants, car dealerships, and more.

You will work as part of a wider service team while being comfortable operating independently on site day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of Remax rapid roller door systems, sectional doors, and associated automation and control systems

• Utilising power tools for installations of doors

• Efficiently work as part of a project team

• Professional in office communication with facility managers,



maintenance teams, and site contacts

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates from a range of technical backgrounds. If you have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience with roller doors, industrial doors, or related access systems, we want to hear from you.

• Experience with hand and power tools

• Solid mechanical aptitude

• A self-starter who can manage their own schedule, takes initiative, and gets the job done without needing to be micromanaged

• Willing to travel across the region and stay overnight where required

• Professional approach with customers and site contacts — clear communicator, reliable, and safety conscious

• Ability to travel to job site for start / finish

• White Card (or ability to obtain one prior to commencement)

• EWP Ticket (or ability to obtain one prior to commencement)
