**Pavement Engineer**

As a Pavement Engineer, you’ll bring your technical expertise to the design and delivery of durable, high-performing pavement solutions across multi-disciplinary transport projects.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring pavement systems are safe, cost-effective and built to last - while collaborating with a team that values technical excellence and innovation.

**What you’ll do**
You’ll contribute across the full project lifecycle, supporting design, review and delivery activities:

+ Review pavement materials, mix designs and maintain concrete mix registers
+ Design and assess flexible and rigid pavement systems
+ Prepare technical reports and engineering drawings
+ Undertake desktop reviews to ensure compliance with quality systems and client requirements
+ Collaborate across disciplines on major infrastructure projects
+ Support proposal preparation, including cost inputs and technical contributions
+ Apply relevant standards, regulations and best practice methodologies
+ Support secure design principles and contribute to project risk identification
+ Assist in delivering high-quality outcomes that improve client satisfaction

**What you’ll bring**
We’re looking for a motivated Pavement Engineer with strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset:

+ ~5+ years’ experience in pavement engineering
+ Experience in flexible and rigid pavement design and technical reporting
+ Exposure to geotechnical engineering (desirable)
+ Strong technical writing and communication skills
+ Ability to manage workloads across multiple projects and priorities
+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
+ Ability to work independently while contributing to team success
+ A proactive, adaptable approach with a focus on continuous improvement

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)Working towards Chartered Engineer status
