Disability Support Worker – Endeavour Hills, VIC

Unmatched Support Services is seeking patient, reliable, and compassionate Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred support to teenage participants with Autism in Endeavour Hills, VIC.

This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in Autism support, comfortable providing personal care, and able to create a calm, safe, and supportive environment.

About the Role

You will support teenage participants in their home environment, helping them maintain established routines, participate in daily activities, and develop their independence.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and promote established daily routines
- Engage and encourage participants with daily activities
- Provide personal care support, including showering and continence assistance
- Build positive relationships and learn each participant's individual communication style
- Provide patient, respectful, and consistent support
- Work collaboratively with family members and other Support Workers
- Adapt positively to changes in routines or support requirements
- Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment
- Follow participant support plans and workplace procedures
- Complete required documentation and progress notes

About You

The ideal candidate will:

- Have experience and knowledge in supporting people with Autism
- Have experience providing personal care, preferably to teenagers
- Be patient, calm,



reliable, and compassionate
- Be a good listener and confident communicator
- Be willing to learn about each participant's individual needs and communication style
- Be comfortable working in a family home where other family members may be present
- Have robust teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Be flexible and able to adapt to changes as they arise
- Be committed to providing respectful, person-centred support

Ability to cook is a bonus!

Availability: Weekday evenings

Applicants must be available to work until at least 8:00 PM.

Essential / Preferred Experience

- Previous disability support experience
- Autism support experience preferred
- Personal care experience preferred
- Experience supporting teenagers is highly regarded
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Right to work in Australia
