About the Role

Tuscan Marble and Granite Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Stonemason to join our fabrication workshop team. This is a factory-based role focused on cutting, shaping, and polishing natural stone products using industry-standard machinery. The successful candidate will work with a range of stone materials to produce high-quality stone products for kitchen benchtops and other applications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

- Studying plans, drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and fabrication procedures
- Cutting, shaping and polishing natural stone blocks and slabs using machines including bridge saws, CNC equipment, and hand tools
- Fabricating stone kitchen benchtops including cutting, polishing, joining and installation preparation
- Checking dimensions and quality of finished products against specifications
- Operating and maintaining workshop machinery and equipment
- Ensuring work is completed to quality standards and within specified tolerances
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment




- Adhering to all workplace health and safety requirements

Skills and Experience Required

Essential:

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in stonemasonry/fabrication work
- Proven experience operating fabrication machinery (bridge saws, CNC equipment, polishing machines)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Full Australian work rights

Preferred:

· Experience with natural stone products (e.g. granite, marble, limestone) is highly regarded

· CAD/CAM experience
