Ferrymen NSW is a quality-assured ferry operations company with more than 30 years of experience delivering safe, reliable, and customer-focused vehicular ferry services.
Each year, our dedicated team safely transports over one million vehicles and passengers across New South Wales’ key waterways. From the Clarence and Hastings Rivers to the mighty Murray, our crews can be found working rain, hail, or shine to keep communities connected and journeys safe.

Safety
The principles of good Seamanship set the foundation for our values of safety here at Ferrymen. Our qualified and experienced operators skipper our vessels rain hail or shine. Their leadership, professionalism and attention to safety onboard is the backbone of our service.
Service
We strive to offer a quality service with a friendly wave. Many customers use our vessels daily, and as such we want to promote a sense of community on-board. Our crew aims to provide a safe and friendly atmosphere for your journey across the river.
Efficiency
A fast crossing is not our aim, but the result of well-established systems and procedures. We have developed the most effective and safe methods of performing our role, utilising the latest technology to minimise delays and ensure our customers arrive on time.
Minimum Requirements (or willing to obtain)
- Coxswain Grade 3 or higher
- General Boat Licence
- Driver’s Licence
- Senior First Aid certification
- Traffic Control certification
- WHS White Card
- Basic Fire Fighting certificate
- Worker on Foot qualification
- National Police Check
Desirable Attributes
