Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. As an RN at Medical Hub West Ryde, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent clinical care, supporting our general practitioners, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including triage, wound management, immunisations, and chronic disease management.
- Assist doctors with minor procedures, patient assessments, and care planning.
- Perform health assessments and develop care plans for patients with chronic conditions.
- Conduct screenings, such as ECGs, spirometry, and other diagnostic tests as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using our clinical software.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, including lifestyle and medication advice.
- Support infection control practices and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training sessions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in general practice or a similar clinical setting (preferred).
- Proficiency in wound care,
chronic disease management, and vaccination administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- A commitment to delivering patient-centred care.
- Experience using clinical software Best Practice is advantageous.
