VIP Community Care & Support Pty Ltd are seeking compassionate and reliable Casual Disability Support Workers to join our team supporting people with disability to live independently and achieve their goals.
About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to participants in line with their NDIS plans. This may include assistance with daily living, community access, personal care, skill development, and supporting participants to build independence and confidence.
You will work collaboratively with participants, their families, and other service providers to deliver safe, respectful, and high-quality supports.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support in line with individual support plans
- Assist participants with daily living tasks and personal care (as required)
- Support community participation and social inclusion
- Encourage independence, choice, and control
- Maintain accurate case notes and shift documentation
- Follow organisational policies, procedures, and NDIS Practice Standards
- Promote a safe environment and report any incidents or concerns
About You
- Experience in disability support, aged care, or similar (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of person-centred and trauma-informed practice
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

Pay: $35.00 – $60.00 per hour
