We are seeking a caring and experienced female support worker to support an 11-year-old girl in Ellenbrook with complex care needs. In line with the participant and family's preference to support cultural understanding and communication, applicants from a Punjabi or Indian cultural background are encouraged to apply.

Shift Availability

- Any day: 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM

About the Role

You will be supporting a young girl with complex care needs, including mealtime management and PEG feeding, and assisting with community access. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys working with children and is committed to providing secure, attentive, person-centred care.

Key Requirements

- Female support worker
- Punjabi or Indian cultural background preferred, to support cultural connection and communication with the participant and family
- Current driver's licence, own vehicle, and confidence transporting the participant for community access
- Experience with PEG feeding
- Medication competency
- Training or experience in severe dysphagia management
- Knowledge of advanced mealtime management
- Confidence and experience supporting children with complex care needs
- Current Working with Children check





Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
