About the Position

We are a well-established dental practice located in Lithgow, committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a modern and supportive environment. Our clinic is equipped with advanced dental technology and offers a wide range of general and surgical treatments.

We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with skilled dentists and gain exposure to surgical procedures in a collaborative setting.

This is a casual position, with flexibility in days.

Clinical Exposure

You will assist in a variety of procedures, including:

- Surgical extractions
- Dental implant placement
- Full arch implants surgeries
- Bone grafting procedures
- Chairside assistance with complex restorative cases
- Chairside assistance with general dental procedures

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Provide reassurance and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures

Clinical Support

- Assist dentists during surgical and general procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
- Ensure all instruments are cleaned, sterilised, and ready for use

Infection Control & Compliance





- Follow strict infection control and sterilisation protocols
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and practice policies

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with dentists and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment

What You Need to Succeed

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (at leat 1 year of experience preferred)
- Experience assisting in surgical procedures
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and organisation
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach
