Our client is seeking a dedicated, full-time Tax Accountant to manage end-of-financial-year reporting and corporate tax compliance. This is an immediate, localized vacancy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and maintain accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards
- Taxation Compliance: Prepare and lodge monthly and quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements
- Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile daily bank statements, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions using Xero / MYOB
- End-of-Month Processes:



Complete month-end and year-end close processes, adjusting journal entries, and processing ledger accruals

Requirements:

- Relevant qualifications in Accounting
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred
- Strong English communication skills
- Commitment to long-term employment in Australia
