Bare Wholefoods is looking for an experienced Barista or Head Barista to join our friendly and passionate team at our busy café in Mona Vale.
We're searching for someone who is passionate about coffee, enjoys providing exceptional customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced café environment. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to progress into a leadership role where, after training, you'll help manage the day-to-day operations of the café.
About the Role
As part of our team, you will:
- Prepare consistently high-quality coffee and beverages.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a warm and welcoming environment.
- Take customer orders using our POS system.
- Provide attentive table service and ensure every guest has a great dining experience.
- Run food and drinks to tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and front of house.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy services.
- Help maintain stock levels and café presentation.
- For experienced candidates, assist with training staff and café operations, with the opportunity to step into a Head Barista/management role after training.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a barista in a busy café.
- Confident dialling in grinders, adjusting espresso extraction and maintaining coffee consistency.
- Excellent milk texturing and latte art skills.
- Experience using POS systems and working in a table service environment.
- Friendly, professional and customer-focused.
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented.
- Able to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is highly regarded but not essential.
- Availability to work weekends is preferred.
