FJG L’EVEILLE JOINERY PTY LTD T/A ThorCab Joinery is a well-established Melbourne-based company located in Pakenham, Victoria, specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of premium residential and commercial joinery. With over 30 years of industry experience, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality custom kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, architectural joinery and commercial fit outs. Due to continued business growth, ThorCab Joinery is seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinetmaker to join its experienced team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and installing custom cabinetry and joinery while maintaining the company's high standards of craftsmanship, quality and customer satisfaction.

- Salary: $80,000 plus Superannuation

Primary Responsibilities:

- Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings and specifications to manufacture custom cabinetry and joinery.
- Measure, mark, cut, shape and assemble timber, plywood, laminates, MDF and other materials using hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery.
- Manufacture custom kitchens, wardrobes, bathroom vanities, entertainment units, office furniture and other residential and commercial joinery.
- Operate woodworking machinery including panel saws, edge banders, CNC machines, drills, routers and sanding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Fit and install cabinet hardware including hinges, drawer runners, handles, locks and other fittings.
- Apply veneers,



laminates and finishing materials to completed cabinetry.
- Assemble and install completed cabinetry and joinery on residential and commercial project sites.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and the company's quality standards.
- Liaise with supervisors and team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop while complying with Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Assist with material preparation, stock control and general workshop duties as required.

Key Skills and Requirements:

- Relevant trade qualification and a minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the manufacture, assembly and installation of custom cabinetry and joinery.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
- Proficient in operating woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team workplace.
- Sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and safe work practices.
- Applicants must have full working rights in Australia.
