What’s on Offer
- Competitive hourly rate of $50–$53 per hour (depending on experience)
- 4 weeks on / 2 week off FIFO roster based in Tennant Creek
- 14 consecutive day shifts followed by 14 consecutive night shifts
- FIFO from major Australian Capital cities & NZ: Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch.
- Flights to Alice Springs with company transport to site
- Camp accommodation and all meals provided
- Ongoing work with a long-term mining contract

About the Role
As an MC Road Train Operator, you’ll play a key role transporting material safely and efficiently within a major Northern Territory mining operation.
You’ll work as part of a professional team committed to safety, productivity and maintaining high operational standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safe operation of MC road trains
- Conducting thorough pre-start inspections and reporting defects
- Operating in accordance with site procedures and company policies
- Working effectively within a professional team environment
- Maintaining high housekeeping and vehicle standards
- Complying with fatigue management requirements
- Always demonstrating a strong commitment to
safety
Essential Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Current Australian MC Driver’s Licence
- Previous Road Train driving experience
- Previous Mine site experience
- Road Ranger gearbox experience
- Ability to pass a Commercial Driver Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
- Current Australian working rights
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent communication skills
