Blood Money Tattoo is a respected tattoo studio with locations in Gold Coast and Brisbane, known for creating high-quality work and developing artists through real-world studio experience. We’re looking for passionate, creative individuals who are responsible about building a career in tattooing.
About the Role
We’re offering a hands-on Tattoo Apprenticeship across our Gold Coast and Brisbane studios. This is an opportunity to learn in a professional working studio, develop your skills from the ground up, and understand what it takes to become a professional tattoo artist.
This is not a short course — it’s a structured 9-month pathway designed to help you build the foundation for a career in the tattoo industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Learning fundamental tattoo techniques through practice skin training
- Supporting daily studio operations
- Observing and assisting experienced tattoo artists
- Maintaining high standards of studio cleanliness and hygiene
- Progressing towards tattooing real clients as your skills develop
Apprenticeship Details
- 9-month structured program
- 3 days per week:
- Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday
- Full studio days starting from 9:00 AM
- Based at our Gold Coast or Brisbane studios
Important
- This is an unpaid apprenticeship
- Most apprentices maintain separate employment alongside the program

- Artwork portfolio (preferred)
