Buzz A Geek was started way back in 2010 providing onsite computer support to clients in the greater Sunshine Coast region.
We’ve subsequently expanded over time and now have foot print all through out Australia. We are continuously looking for the best computer technicians to help support all our corporate and residential clients.
If you feel you or your company can provide the level of service we demand then we’d be interested in talking to you.
What we expect from you
Important notes
We expect you to represent Buzz A Geek in a professional, timely and effective manner.
Respect our business intellectual capital which includes our systems and our clients.
Be ethical! Never solicit business while representing Buzz A Geek.
We cannot equate to being more than 50% of your monthly income.
Insurances required
You are expected to maintain your Public Liability and Personal Indemnity insurance .equaling AUD$ 15 million or more.
Have a Police Check that is no more than 3 months old.
What things do you need
Our technicians require the following
A valid Australian Business Number (ABN number)
Relevant up to date insurances.
Relevant IT qualifications and IT industry tenure.
At least 5 years of IT experience in repair of PC hardware and operating systems etc.
Sound troubleshooting skills.
A well maintained vehicle.
Good time management and customer service skills and the ability to explain technical issues in a non ‘Geek Speak’ way.
Onsite equipment required
Items you will need
USB self powered hub, wireless keyboard and mouse.
Laptop with working Ethernet and WiFi port. (MacOS, ChromeOS, Linux, Windows are all acceptable)
Android based tablet (optional).
Mobile phone capable of transmitting photos via email and interacting with our web based technician portal.
We may required a ladder from time to time.
What things do you need
Our rates are market related and all invoices, unless stated, are paid within 21 days of being captured in our portal.
