Head Chef - Meraki Hospitality Group - Italian Restaurant

Meraki Hospitality Group is a Central Coast hospitality collective behind some of the region's most loved venues, including Kefi, Little Miss Terrigal, Motel Mezza, and Little Seed. We're also expanding, with an exciting new waterfront venue joining the group soon - bringing fresh opportunities for the right leaders to grow with us.

We're on the lookout for experienced Head Chefs to lead kitchens across our venues, with immediate and upcoming opportunities as our group continues to grow.

The Role

We're looking for Head Chefs who are both strong leaders and skilled, hands-on cooks. You'll lead a team of 6-8 (depending on venue and season), working beside them during service to maintain consistency and quality. Leadership, calm communication, and an ability to motivate your team are key.

This is a hands-on position - you'll be actively involved in service and training. Availability across evenings and weekends is essential, though flexibility exists as you build and develop a capable, well-trained team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, train, and support a kitchen team of 6-8 team members
- Deliver consistent, high-quality dishes aligned with the venue's concept and standards
- Maintain COGS, labour, and ordering targets




- Uphold kitchen organisation, compliance, and presentation standards
- Foster a positive and professional team environment
- Work closely with executive leadership on menu direction and operations
- KPI driven bonuses available for up to 10% of annual salary

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
