JV Recruitment are currently on the lookout for experienced Skilled Labourers and Trade Assistants for ongoing roles at a busy prefab manufacturing facility based in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.
You’ll be working across a clean and well-run Modular construction facility. These roles offer steady hours and the chance to secure long-term work for the right candidates.
What you’ll be doing:
- Skilled labouring, framing, and confident use of hand and power tools
- Join the cabinetmaking or assembly team if you have the relevant experience
- Assisting trades in the workshop and factory floor
- Loading/unloading materials and manual handling
- Working alongside a friendly and safety-focused team
What we're looking for:
- Solid experience on construction sites, prefabrication, or timber manufacturing environments
- Previous carpentry, cabinetmaking, joinery, or structural framing experience highly advantageous
- Reliable, hard-working and able to work full-time hours
- Own transport highly desired but not essential
- Full PPE required
What’s on offer:
- Ongoing work with full-time hours
- Day and afternoon shifts available
- $35.33 - $38 per hour + superannuation (casual loading applies for afternoon shifts)
- Overtime rates apply
- Meal allowance for shifts over 9.5 hours
