About the role

This is not your typical Behaviour Support Practitioner role. Working closely with experienced Senior Behaviour Support Practitioners, you'll be guided, coached, and supported as you develop your skills and confidence.

Unlike many entry level BSP roles, this position is focused on learning and development rather than independently managing a full caseload. Through a structured onboarding, training, and competency development framework, you'll have the chance to build capability, confidence, and clinical excellence while receiving ongoing support every step of the way.

What You'll Be Doing:
Undertaking extensive training in Multi Element Behaviour Support and Behaviour Science




Support children and adults with disability to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Shadow experienced practitioners with their current caseloads.
Assist with implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans.
Participate in assessments and information gathering.
Learn how to develop behaviour support plans and recommendations.
Work directly with participants, families, support workers, schools and other stakeholders.
Collect and analyse data to monitor progress.
Develop the practical skills required to become an independent Behaviour Support Practitioner.

We're Looking for People Who:
Hold a relevant undergraduate degree or are prepared to enrol in postgraduate ABA studies
Are passionate about improving the lives of people with disability
Are motivated to learn and develop professionally
Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills
Are organised, reliable and accountable
Hold or can obtain a NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check
Hold or be able to obtain a valid QLD Driver Licence and have access to your own vehicle, as travel to participants is required
