The Acute Stroke Rehabilitation and Older Persons Unit is a dynamic, multidisciplinary ward focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care. We support patients recovering from stroke, managing complex rehabilitation needs, and older adults with acute and chronic conditions. Our team works collaboratively to promote recovery, independence, and dignity through evidence-based practice, innovation, and compassionate care. We foster a culture of clinical excellence, continuous improvement, and staff empowerment.

About your role:
In this position you will.....
Provide advanced clinical expertise in Acute Stroke management, Rehabilitation, and Geriatric care.
Lead and support nursing staff in delivering evidence-based, person-centred care.
Engage in incident reporting and investigation and conduct and apply quality improvement frameworks and audits and develop risk minimisation strategies/activities to promote safe and/or rectify unsafe practice.
Act as a clinical resource and mentor for junior staff and students.
