We are looking for an experienced Gourmet Food Shop Manager to join our team.

This role is perfect for someone who has a strong background in the food industry, excellent product knowledge, and a genuine passion for quality food, customer service, and running a well-presented retail store.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the shop, maintaining high presentation standards and stock rotation, supporting customers with product knowledge, and helping drive sales across our gourmet retail range.

About the Role

We are looking for someone to work 5 days per week in a busy gourmet food retail environment. We need someone confident, reliable, hands-on, and experienced in managing both people and products.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the gourmet food shop
- Provide excellent customer service and product advice
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and stock rotation
- Use your food knowledge to guide customers and support sales
- Manage stock levels, ordering, merchandising, and displays
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and industry standards are followed
- Help create a welcoming and professional shopping experience

About You

The successful applicant will have:

- Previous experience managing a food retail store,



gourmet food shop, deli, butcher, grocer, providore, or similar
- Extensive food knowledge and a genuine interest in quality products
- Solid understanding of the food industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Leadership experience and the ability to manage a team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Availability to work 5 days per week between the hours of 8am & 5pm.
- A hands-on attitude and pride in maintaining high standards
