The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) is the leading standards body responsible for the training and education of specialists and GP obstetricians in obstetrics and gynaecology in Australia and New Zealand.
RANZCOG is committed to the establishment and maintenance of the highest possible standards of practice in women's health and provides programs in training, accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) that are responsive to the evolving health care needs of women.
RANZCOG supports research into women's health and act as an advocate for women's healthcare by forging productive relationships with individuals, the community and professional organisations, both locally and internationally.
Job Description
Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Foundation Officer will provide support to the RANZCOG’s Women’s Health Foundation, and its scholarships and grants strategies and processes. The Foundation Officer also contributes to fundraising activities. This is a part-time position, working 22.5 hours (0.6FTE) per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Women’s Health Foundation and Research Grants Committee.
- Support the annual and ongoing program of grants and scholarships under the Women’s Health Foundation.
- Assist with the end‑to‑end management of scholarships, grants, and awards, including post‑award monitoring and project oversight.
- Contribute to the Foundation's operating budget by coordinating receipts and payments related to scholarships, and liaise with Finance on Foundation assets and funds.
- Support the development and maintenance of the online grants application process, and oversee the effective use of the Good Grants system.
- Liaise with funding bodies and donors to maintain solid relationships and ensure scholarship deeds and conditions remain current.
- Assist in drafting accurate deeds, contracts,
and scholarship documentation, including supporting the development of associated processes and policies.
- Contribute to the development and publishing of Foundation communications, including website content, EDM materials, and promotional information relating to scholarships and grants.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in grants administration or fundraising, including planning and monitoring grants cycles or programs.
- Proficiency with Good Grants or other grants management software.
- Sound financial administration skills, including budget tracking and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and liaison skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
- High‑level computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience providing administrative support to committees, including agenda and minute preparation.
Desirable:
- A genuine interest in women's health and/or health education.
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a positive team culture.
