Job Description
About the Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our People & Culture team based at our Eagle Farm Head Office.
Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, you'll be a trusted advisor to leaders across multiple business units, providing practical and commercially focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
This is a true generalist role that offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact. From employee relations and performance management through to recruitment, onboarding, coaching leaders and driving HR initiatives, no two days are the same.
This position is 25 hours per week,
and we're happy to discuss a flexible work pattern that suits both you and the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with managers to provide practical HR advice and guidance.
- Support employee relations matters including performance management, investigations, disciplinary processes and workplace conflict resolution.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
- Build strong working relationships with leaders across multiple sites and business functions.
- Interpret and apply employment legislation, Modern Awards, policies and procedures.
- Prepare employment documentation including contracts, letters and HR correspondence.
- Support organisational change, engagement initiatives and People & Culture projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement across the team.
About You
You're an approachable and confident HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders and finding practical solutions that support both employees and the business.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in a Human Resources Advisor or similar generalist HR position.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian Employment Law, Fair Work legislation and Contemporary Awards.
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters including investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, positive and solution-focused approach.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Highly Desirable
- Previous account management experience within an internal or agency recruitment environment, including partnering with hiring managers, managing multiple recruitment campaigns and delivering exceptional stakeholder service.
