As an integral part of the Linkforce enterprise, Workforce Training Centre delivers a comprehensive range of nationally recognised training and assessment programs exclusively for our internal workforce.

THE ROLE

We currently have the chance for an enthusiastic, skilled, and student‑centred Trainer and Assessor who is dedicated to creating outstanding learning experiences. You’ll be joining a supportive organisation that invests in your development and career pathways.

As a Trainer and Assessor, you will join our Kewdale Training Centre. Offered on a full-time, permanent basis and working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for:

Deliver engaging, practical, and compliant accredited and non‑accredited training programs

Facilitating accredited & non accredited courses covering [but not limited to]:

Work Safely at Heights

Enter and work in a Confined Space

Gas Test Atmospheres

Fire Safety

Manual Handling

HRWL training and assessing with in your scope.

Practical VOC assessments and refresher training

Leadership and foundation skills training as required

Maintaining current industry knowledge, compliance, and collaborative practices to support quality training outcomes





Supporting quality assurance, validation, and compliance to ensure training quality and assessment integrity

Participating in the development, review, and maintain training resources to support learner engagement, safety capability, and job-ready outcomes

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/40122 or equivalent)

Minimum 2-3 years demonstrated mining industry experience (required to deliver AQF Level 2/3 units and above).

Supervisory experience (desirable)

Experience delivering safety‑focused training, preferably within the mining sector (desirable)

Industry qualifications at the level being delivered or above

WorkSafe Accredited Assessor across HRWL Classes is desirable

BHP endorsed Practical Assessment accredited Assessor is desirable
