HAPI and NORMA are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Chef (1st, 2nd, or 3rd year) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work along side and learn from our Head Chef, Tess Rafferty, while completing your apprenticeship and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, hatted restaurant.
About the Role
As an Apprentice Chef, you will:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking
- Learn a variety of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Help with stock rotation and kitchen cleaning
- Work closely with our Head Chef, Tess Rafferty
- Working across both restaurants and exposed to modern Italian and Asian cuisine
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a genuine passion for food and cooking
- Be reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Have a positive attitude and robust work ethic
- Be able to work well in a team and under pressure
- Work across both restaurants cooking modern Italian and Asian cuisine
- Must have the ability to work weekends
- Be committed to completing an Apprenticeship with HAPI and NORMA
