Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per annum + Superannuation

Ambrosia Indian Restaurant is seeking a motivated and passionate Cook/Chef to join our friendly team. This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is eager to learn, and has a positive, open-minded attitude.

Key Duties:

* Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes to a high standard.

* Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations.

* Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency.

* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.

* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

About You:

* Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Cook or Chef.

* Experience with Indian cuisine is essential.





* Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.

* Open-minded, adaptable, and able to work well within a team.

* Reliable, hardworking, and passionate about food.

* Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a face-to-face interview at Ambrosia Indian Restaurant in Gympie.

* Applicants will also be required to demonstrate their practical cooking skills as part of the assessment process to showcase their ability, techniques, and understanding of kitchen operations.
