Qualified Driving Instructor – Make a Real Difference!

At Tribe Social Belonging, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the freedom and independence that comes with driving.

Our Tribe Drive program supports NDIS participants and private clients to build confidence behind the wheel, complete their supervised driving hours, and achieve their goal of obtaining a driver's licence. We're looking for a compassionate, reliable and qualified Driving Instructor to join our team.

This isn't your typical driving instructor role. Every lesson is about building confidence, celebrating progress, and helping people reach goals that can genuinely change their lives.

About the Role

You'll work one-on-one with participants from a variety of backgrounds, delivering supportive and personalised driving lessons in our dual-control automatic vehicle.

You'll also:

- Teach safe driving skills in a calm and encouraging way.
- Adapt lessons to suit each individual's learning style.
- Support participants with anxiety, Autism, ADHD and other disabilities.
- Complete lesson notes and documentation.
- Work closely with our Tribe team to achieve participant goals.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:





- A qualified Driving Instructor (Queensland accreditation required).
- Patient, calm and encouraging.
- Passionate about helping people achieve independence.
- A confident communicator.
- Reliable, organised and skilled.
- Comfortable working with people living with disability (experience is highly regarded but not essential).

Essential Requirements

- Current Queensland Driving Instructor Accreditation.
- Current Open Driver Licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Current Australian Police Check.
- Full working rights in Australia.
