12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

HYDAC Australia is seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Coordinator – SAP S/4HANA Cloud to lead the next stage of our SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation across Australia and New Zealand.

The project has already completed the Discover, Prepare and Explore phases. The successful candidate will join the project as it moves into the Realise, Deploy and Run phases, with responsibility for coordinating delivery, data migration, testing, validation, business readiness and go-live.

This newly created 12-month fixed-term contract offers the opportunity to lead a major business transformation project, working closely with our Australian SAP consultant, HYDAC Global, the implementation partner and internal stakeholders.

This is primarily a business-side project coordination role. The focus will be on keeping the implementation on schedule, assigning and monitoring data migration activities, coordinating testing and validation, coordination stakeholders, and ensuring the organisation is ready for a successful go-live in 2027.

About the Role

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud across HYDAC’s Australian and New Zealand operations.

With the Discover, Prepare and Explore phases already completed, your key focus will be to coordinate the remaining implementation phases: Realise, Deploy and Run.

Working alongside our Australian SAP consultant and global project team, you will act as the primary business representative, ensuring project activities are effectively managed, internal teams remain engaged, and all implementation milestones are achieved.

This role is ideal for someone with strong ERP implementation experience who enjoys coordinating people, processes and projects rather than performing detailed SAP system configuration.





Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Realise, Deploy and Run phases of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation across Australia and New Zealand.

- Coordinate the overall project plan, timelines, milestones, risks, issues and deliverables.

- Coordinate project activities between HYDAC Australia and New Zealand, HYDAC Global, the implementation partner and key business stakeholders.

- Assign, coordinate and monitor data cleansing, migration and validation activities across all functional areas.

- Ensure data migration tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.

- Coordinate system testing, integration testing and User Acceptance Testing.

- Ensure business processes, workflows and master data are thoroughly tested and validated before go-live.

- Coordinate defect tracking, issue resolution and escalation with the SAP consultant and implementation partner.

- Coordinate business readiness, user training, communication and change management activities.

- Prepare the organisation for cutover and go-live.

- Support the post-go-live stabilisation and Run phase.

- Provide regular project updates, risk reporting and progress reports to senior management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience managing ERP implementation projects.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or a comparable enterprise ERP platform.

- Strong project management, planning and organisational skills.





- Experience coordinating data migration, testing, validation and business readiness activities.

- A practical understanding of User Acceptance Testing, defect management and go-live preparation.

- Ability to work effectively with consultants, implementation partners, global teams and internal stakeholders.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

- The ability to assign tasks, monitor progress and hold workstream owners accountable for delivery.

- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment will be highly regarded.
