We're excited to welcome a Operational Services Officer to our Operational Services team!
In this role, you will provide patient support services, responsibilities that support a safe environment, wards person, cleaning, catering, waste management and linen services. Maleny is a hinterland tourist destination on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and is 30km from the beaches of Caloundra. It is a rural area being classified as a modified Monash Model 5, or Rural Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a range of duties in the delivery of catering, hygiene, laundry, stores and supplies, transport, waste management, wards person duties, safety and general and clinical support.
Assist in ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Provide support during times of abnormal incidents within the precincts of the facility and liaise with the multidisciplinary team and Queensland Police Service as appropriate.
Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with Infection Control Guidelines.
Salary rates: $32.33 - $34.50 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (fixed term temporary part time position available for six months, 64hrs p.f.) Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy. Please note:
