We’re Hiring – Experienced Disability Support Worker | Trentham, VIC

United Tribe is seeking an experienced, confident and resilient Female Disability Support Worker to support a female participant in Trentham, Victoria.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is highly skilled, proactive and comfortable supporting a participant with complex health needs.

About the Participant

Our participant is a strong, resilient woman who has faced an ongoing battle with cancer and multiple complex health challenges. She values professionalism, competence and reliability and is looking for a support worker who is confident in their abilities and committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred support.

This role will suit someone who is experienced, independent, and not afraid to take initiative.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

✔ Female with strong life experience (ideally in their 40s/50s, although all experienced applicants are encouraged to apply)

✔ Experienced in aged care, nursing, Personal Care, disability support or other complex care settings

✔ Confident managing multiple support needs

✔ Calm, professional and solutions-focused

✔ Resilient and able to receive direct, honest feedback professionally





✔ Comfortable standing their ground while maintaining respectful, person-centred support

✔ Proactive, able to identify what needs to be done, and willing to take initiative without constant direction

Mandatory Paid Shadow Shifts

Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Thursday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Ongoing Roster of Care (ROC)

Morning Shifts

- Monday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Evening Shifts (One week per month)

- Monday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Sunday: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
