We are a well-established company in the motor parts industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services. We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Manager to join our team.
Key responsibilities include:
· Plan, organise, direct and coordinate the procurement of automotive parts, materials and related products to meet the company's operational requirements.
· Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business operations and growth. Lead end-to-end procurement operations for automotive parts.
· Source, evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers to achieve pricing, quality and delivery requirements.
· Oversee inventory levels, operate recording systems, and work closely with internal teams to ensure adequate stock availability. Ensure re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and monitor their performance in relation to quality, pricing and delivery.
· Monitor market trends, freight costs and supply chain conditions to identify risks and procurement opportunities.
· Ensure products comply with company quality standards and relevant industry requirements.
· Resolve supply chain disruptions.
· Review and prepare procurement reports. Provide recommendations on procurement workflow efficiency and team coordination.
The successful applicant will have:
· A bachelor’s degree or higher in business, commerce or a related field
· At least three years of experience in a similar role.
· Experience in the automotive parts, motor vehicle or related industry will be highly regarded.
· Solid negotiation, commercial analysis and supplier management skills.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with local and international suppliers.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Competence in procurement, inventory management and Microsoft Office systems.
· Multilingual communication skills will be highly regarded, particularly where relevant to managing overseas suppliers.
