Position Title: Scrub/Scout Nurse

Reporting To: Perioperative Services Manager

Terms: Part Time/Full Time/Casual

Remuneration: EBA Wyvern Private Hospital

1. POSITION SUMMARY

spinal surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery, vascular surgery, interventional cardiology, pain
management, ENT, plastics both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
We are looking to offer Permanent Part Time, Full Time or Casual contracts to the right candidates.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & SKILLS

- A genuine passion to work within the operating Theatre

- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills





- The ability to stay calm under pressure

- A great sense of teamwork and effective communication skills

- Effective assessment of patients, by analysing data and identifying their needs

- Strong administration skills, ability to accurately record the patient journey in a timely fashion

- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement

- Robust attention to detail, ensuring patient safety at all times

- A genuine commitment to providing compassionate care that aligns with Wyvern Private

3. OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse,

Division 1 (AHPRA)

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a Scrub/Scout

- Valid Working with Children Check

- National Police Check

- 100-point ID check

- Full Australian Working Rights (Sponsorships not available at this stage)

- Proof of vaccinations

- Blood Safe e learning
