About the role

Kenway & Clark is looking for an experienced agricultural machinery professional to join our Walgett branch in a sales-focused position.

As a satellite branch of our larger Wee Waa operation, Walgett branch works closely with the Wee Waa Sales and Parts teams to support customers throughout the district. You will be based in Walgett while working hand-in-hand with experienced team members in Wee Waa and across the wider Kenway & Clark group.

Your primary focus will be developing machinery sales opportunities, strengthening customer relationships and increasing Kenway & Clark’s presence throughout the Walgett area.

You will spend much of your time working directly with local farmers and agricultural businesses, identifying equipment needs, following up opportunities and supporting customers throughout the sales process.

To support the continuous operation of the Walgett branch, you will also maintain competence in our Parts systems and provide Parts coverage during employee leave, absences and busy periods.

This position would suit someone with experience in agricultural machinery Parts who is ready to move into, or further develop, a customer-facing sales career.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the Walgett district.

- Proactively identify opportunities for new and used machinery, attachments and related equipment.

- Undertake regular customer visits and maintain an active presence within the local agricultural community.

- Respond to sales enquiries and recommend suitable equipment based on customer requirements.

- Prepare and follow up quotations in conjunction with the Wee Waa sales team,



Group Sales Manager and broader Kenway & Clark sales network.

- Work closely with the Wee Waa Sales team to coordinate customer opportunities, demonstrations, trade appraisals, equipment inspections and machinery handovers.

- Maintain accurate customer, enquiry and opportunity information within company systems.

- Promote seasonal campaigns, branch stock, used machinery and supplier offers.

- Represent Kenway & Clark at local field days, agricultural shows and customer events.

- Work closely with the Walgett and Wee Waa Parts teams to provide responsive support to customers across both locations.

- Maintain knowledge of Kenway & Clark’s Parts systems, processes and inventory procedures.

- Provide Parts coverage at Walgett during planned and unplanned employee absences.

- Assist with Parts identification, quoting, ordering, receipting and invoicing when required.

- Support the general operation, presentation and customer service standards of the Walgett branch.

About you

You will be practical, commercially minded and comfortable building relationships with customers across the local agricultural community.

You will ideally have:

- Experience in agricultural machinery Parts, sales or a similar dealership environment.

- Robust knowledge of agricultural machinery, equipment and farming operations.





- The ability to confidently identify and source Parts.

- A genuine interest in machinery sales and customer relationship development.

- Strong communication, organisation and follow-up skills.

- The ability to work autonomously while remaining closely connected with the Wee Waa and wider Kenway & Clark teams.

- Good computer skills and the ability to learn dealership and sales systems.

- A current driver’s licence.

Previous machinery sales experience would be highly regarded, but we are also interested in experienced Parts professionals who have the product knowledge, customer skills and drive to develop into a successful sales role.
