The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Trade Qualified Spray Painter with a background in the heavy vehicle industry to join our team at Recar Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces and substrates for painting.
- Mix, select, and apply paints and coatings using professional spray-painting techniques.
- Conduct colour matching and make minor colour adjustments to achieve a premium finish.
- Complete all paint work in line with company processes, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Maintain spray booths, tools,
and associated equipment.
- Inspect and sign off completed work to ensure customer satisfaction and high-quality outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Spray Painter (essential).
- Proven experience working within the heavy vehicle industry, including trucks and/or buses (essential).
- Strong knowledge of paint systems, colour matching, and refinishing techniques.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Full Australian working rights.
- A current and valid driver's licence.
