About the Role
The Finance Assistant plays an important role in supporting the financial integrity and day-to-day financial operations of the State Library of New South Wales. Working as part of a collaborative Finance team, you will provide end-to-end accounts receivable support, ensuring income is accurately processed, reconciled and recorded in accordance with NSW Government financial legislation, policies and internal controls.
You will manage a variety of financial administration activities including invoicing, receipting income, banking, reconciliations, journal processing, month-end activities and supporting audit requirements. The role works across multiple systems and engages with stakeholders throughout the Library to maintain accurate financial records, resolve queries and ensure timely financial processing.
About you
You are an organised and proactive finance professional with experience in accounts receivable and a sound understanding of financial accounting principles. You have strong attention to detail and are confident managing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy across financial transactions and records.

Talent Pool
