We're currently looking for a reliable and hands-on Casual Maintenance Attendant / Handyperson to join our team.

About the Role

This is a varied and active role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in maintaining high presentation standards. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the resort, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, grounds, and facilities remain safe, functional, and well presented.

The position is primarily rostered Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the resort
- Maintain guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and outdoor spaces to a high standard
- Assist with pool maintenance, cleaning, and routine inspections
- Complete painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, and general repair tasks where appropriate
- Set up and move furniture and assist with operational projects as required
- Identify and report maintenance issues requiring specialist contractors




- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
- Support the team wherever required to deliver an outstanding guest experience

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Experienced in general building maintenance, handyman work, or property maintenance
- Confident using a range of hand and power tools
- Experienced in pool maintenance (highly regarded but not essential)
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in producing quality work
- Friendly, approachable, and enjoys working as part of a small team
- Flexible to work occasional weekends when required
- Committed to maintaining a safe working environment
