About the Role

As our Casual Maintenance Attendant, you'll play an important role in ensuring the hotel remains safe, functional and well-presented for both guests and team members.

This is a hands-on position offering varied work across all areas of the property.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general property maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Complete minor repairs to guestrooms and public areas.
- Carry out caulking and sealing as required.
- Undertake basic painting and plaster patching.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, including:
- Clearing blocked sinks and toilets.
- Replacing tap washers.
- Repair and maintain fixtures and fittings.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments.
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with WHS requirements.
- Assist with setting up contractors where required.
- Maintain tools, equipment and workshop areas in a clean and organised condition.




- Undertake Test & Tag of electrical equipment (qualification preferred). Training can be provided for the right candidate.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience in general building or property maintenance.
- Is confident using a range of hand and power tools.
- Has basic knowledge of painting, plastering and minor plumbing repairs.
- Has excellent problem-solving skills and can work independently.
- Takes pride in maintaining a safe and well-presented environment.
- Has good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Holds a current Australian Driver's Licence (preferred).
- Holds a Test & Tag qualification (preferred but not essential—training available).

Pay: From $34.96 per hour

Experience:

- Property maintenance or Similar: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (Preferred)
- Test and Tag course completion certificate (Preferred)

- Australia (Required)
