In this role, you'll:
Lead the commercial contract management function for a portfolio of regional, outer metropolitan and public transport service contracts, ensuring strong commercial, financial and operational outcomes. As a key leader within the Contract & Commercial Management team, you will oversee contract payments, performance reporting, forecasting and governance activities, while supporting the delivery of major contract reform initiatives, including next-generation rural, regional and outer metropolitan contract programs. Working closely with service providers, senior stakeholders and Greater Sydney counterparts, you will help shape commercial outcomes that drive service delivery and customer outcomes across the public transport network.

Key areas of focus will include:

- Leading contract management, commercial reporting and financial forecasting activities.




- Providing strategic advice on contract performance, commercial obligations and service delivery outcomes.
- Supporting governance forums, performance reviews and commercial decision-making.
- Managing contract payment processes and ensuring strong compliance and control frameworks.
- Leading and developing a team while fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing culture.
- Building strong relationships with operators and internal stakeholders to drive positive commercial outcomes.

About you

You are an experienced commercial leader with a strong background in both contract management and finance. You have managed complex, long-term service contracts and understand how to balance commercial obligations, operational priorities and financial performance to deliver sustainable outcomes. Your experience may come from transport or another large-scale service delivery environment where robust governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement are critical to success.

You are equally comfortable leading people as you are leading commercial outcomes.



An engaging and supportive leader, you have experience developing teams, managing performance and building positive team cultures. You bring strong stakeholder management skills, sound commercial judgement and the ability to influence at all levels, enabling you to navigate complex environments and deliver practical solutions that support both business objectives and customer outcomes.
