we are looking for an experienced Cook to join our team and contribute to our commitment to quality food and welcoming service.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking Australian-style meals, takeaway foods, seafood dishes and other menu items.
- Preparing, portioning, seasoning and organising ingredients for daily service.
- Following established recipes, preparation methods and food presentation standards.
- Maintaining consistent food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
- Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Monitoring stock levels, storing deliveries correctly and minimising food wastage.
- Working closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Assisting with general kitchen operations and supporting other team members where required.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience as a Cook in a restaurant, café, roadhouse, hotel or commercial kitchen.
- Experience preparing Australian-style meals, takeaway food, meat, poultry, seafood and vegetarian dishes.




- Good knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations and food safety standards.
- Ability to maintain consistent food quality and portion control.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
- A reliable, flexible and positive approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small kitchen team.
- Willingness to live and work in a remote regional location.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
