Bertas is a fast-paced, high-volume deli in Marrickville, focused on quality, consistency, and doing sandwiches exceptionally well.
We’re looking for a chef who can handle pressure, move with urgency, and consistently maintain high standards in a busy service environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing fresh and cooked items
- Working across fresh, grill, and fryer sections during service
- Maintaining consistency and quality across all food
- Assisting with daily opens and closes
- Working closely within a small, tight-knit team

- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Robust work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Clear communication and a team-first mindset
- A genuine love for sandwiches (you’ll be making a lot of them)
