We are currently seeking skilled and passionate Chef's to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a prestigious establishment known for its exceptional service and culinary excellence. As an established Chef, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the culinary standards and contributing to the innovative menu offerings that define the Hotel's dining experience.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

- Overseeing kitchen operations and managing rostering and scheduling of kitchen staff, including kitchen hands
- Working closely with the executive chef to implement new ideas, menus, specials, latest food trends & systems
- Ensure quality and control in all Food preparation
- Supervise ordering, purchasing and receipt of scheduled supplies
- Maintain compliance with OHS guidelines
- Training, demonstrating and leading new kitchen recruits




- Ensuring HACCP policies & procedures are adhered to by all kitchen staff
- Reporting of shifts to management in the absence of the Executive chef
- Conducting risk inspections and ensuring the relevant health and safety rules and regulations are complied
- Adhere and maintain Policy and Procedures of the Maloney’s Group

Experience & Skills Required

- Minimum 2 years work experience as a chef
- Relevant qualification in hospitality
- Solid / well rounded experience within the restaurant/bar/pub industry
- Excellent up-to-date food product knowledge including, function catering & high-volume bistro catering
- Experience with stock take and Ordering
- Strong all-round skills, grill section & pans section
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and supervise a team and ensure they deliver an excellent customer experience
- Ability to work hospitality hours including days, nights, and weekends, public holiday
