We are seeking a reliable and motivated Metal Bandsaw Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in metal processing who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate horizontal and vertical metal bandsaws to cut a variety of materials to specification.
- Read and interpret work orders, cutting lists, and engineering drawings.
- Measure and mark materials accurately using measuring equipment.
- Ensure all cuts meet quality and dimensional requirements.
- Load, unload, and handle steel, aluminium, and other metal products safely.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working order.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets.

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience operating metal bandsaws or similar metal fabrication equipment.




- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
- Physically fit and capable of handling metal products safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
