NDIS Support Coordinator – Bunbury

At Hera Support, we believe great Support Coordination changes lives. Every day, we work alongside people with disability, their families and support networks to navigate complex situations, remove barriers and create opportunities for participants to achieve their goals.

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Support Coordinator who enjoys building strong relationships, solving complex problems and advocating for positive outcomes.

This role will suit someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working autonomously while being supported by an experienced team, and wants to make a meaningful impact every day.

Based in Bunbury, you will manage your own portfolio of participants while working closely with families, guardians, therapists, service providers and the NDIA to coordinate high-quality supports that place participants at the centre of every decision.

What You’ll Be Doing

Every day is different, but your responsibilities will include:

- Empowering participants to understand and implement their NDIS plans
- Working alongside participants to achieve meaningful goals and build greater independence
- Helping participants make the most of their NDIS funding through effective planning and budget monitoring
- Connecting participants with quality service providers and community supports
- Coordinating complex supports and facilitating collaborative outcomes between providers, families and stakeholders
- Advocating for participants to ensure their voices are heard and their choices are respected
- Supporting participants through plan reassessments, changes in circumstances and challenging life transitions

- Preparing high-quality documentation, including case notes, reports and funding evidence
- Building trusted, long-term relationships with participants and their support networks
- Working within NDIS legislation and best-practice standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement across the organisation

About You

You are passionate about improving outcomes for people with disability and understand that great Support Coordination is about much more than administration.

You will bring empathy, initiative, resilience and excellent communication skills, together with the ability to confidently navigate complex situations while maintaining a participant-centred approach.

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience as a Support Coordinator or in a similar NDIS role, such as Local Area Coordinator, Psychosocial Recovery Coach, Case Manager or Service Coordinator
- A sound understanding of NDIS legislation, funding, budgets and reporting requirements, or a willingness to undertake self-directed learning
- Solid relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with participants, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
- High-quality written communication and report-writing skills

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Confidence working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
- A genuine commitment to participant choice, control and human rights

Qualifications in Disability, Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, Allied Health or a related discipline are highly regarded but not essential.

Why Join Hera Support?

At Hera Support, we are committed to supporting both our participants and our team. We know exceptional Support Coordinators need the right environment to do their best work.

We offer:

- A genuinely supportive and collaborative team culture
- Meaningful work that makes a real difference in people’s lives
- Professional development and ongoing learning opportunities
- Clinical and peer support when managing complex cases
- Flexibility and autonomy to manage your own portfolio
- Opportunities to develop specialist knowledge in complex Support Coordination
- Modern systems that reduce administration and support efficient practice
- A competitive salary with access to salary packaging
- A workplace where your ideas, experience and wellbeing are valued
