EIH Care are seeking a compassionate and experienced Disability Support Worker to support clients based in Preston & St. Kilda

As a Support Worker, you will provide individualized support to participants living in an SDA property or their own home.

This role requires availability for mid-week morning and day shifts.

About the role :

Duties include:

- Providing personal care, including showering, dressing and grooming
- A mixture of in-home support, as well as community support.
- Light domestic duties including cleaning, and laundry
- Protected manual handling
- Assisting with mobility and positioning
- To assist with meal preparation, and light domestic support.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and shift notes
- To undertake the tasks detailed in the participants’ Care Plan while delivering person-centered care with empathy, professionalism, and respect

Job Details:

- Qualification Requirement: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services.
- At least 2 years experience in disability support work
- Hoisting and manual handling competency (essential)




- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Skills : Leadership, Communication, Proactive
- Expected Hours: 16-24hrs per week, with flexibility and additional hours as needed.
- Required Licenses/Certifications: Full Driving Licence, Working with Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening, Police Check, First Aid and CPR
- Work Authorization: Australia (Required)
