About the Role
Reporting to the Butchery Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing, cutting, trimming, boning and portioning a wide range of premium meat products.
- Producing attractive, well-presented displays that reflect Boatshed Market's high standards.
- Providing outstanding customer service and expert product advice.
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
- Managing stock rotation and minimising waste.
- Working collaboratively with the wider fresh food team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a qualified butcher in a retail or premium butchery setting.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat preparation and presentation.
- A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work weekends and a rotating roster.
