We’re currently looking for a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to support a female participant based in Walmul (10 minutes from Mount Morgan).
This is a meaningful role suited to someone who enjoys building genuine connections, providing practical support, and working at a calm, understanding pace.

About the Role:
You will be supporting with a mix of in-home and community-based tasks, including:
- Meal preparation
- Light cleaning & domestic assistance
- Social support (appointments, shopping, outings)
- Transport using your own vehicle (kilometre allowance paid)
- Assisting with horse care (washing, grooming, saddling/unsaddling)
Hours:
- 3–4 hours per week (in-home support)
- Additional 3–6 hours per week (community access)
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Warm, bubbly, and easy to be around
- Reliable and proactive with tasks
- Understanding and respectful of individual needs
- Calm in nature (suited to someone who can support a participant with PTSD)
- Physically able to assist with carrying items
- Horse savvy (big tick!)
