Job Description
Your opportunity
As our Training and Housing Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our people and strengthening organisational capability. Reporting to the People & Safety Specialist, you will coordinate Council's housing portfolio and employee training programs, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance and a positive employee experience across the organisation.

Coordinate Council's training, compliance and workforce development programs to support employee growth and organisational capabilit

Administer Council's housing portfolio, including allocations, tenancy coordination, accommodation management and housing record

Maintain accurate training and housing records, ensuring compliance with legislative, policy and reporting requirement

Liaise with employees, tenants,
managers, training providers and external stakeholders to deliver responsive and efficient services Provide administrative support across the People & Safety functions while contributing to continuous improvement, employee wellbeing and positive workplace experiences

Robust administration, organisation and record management skill

Excellent communication skills Experience in training coordination, housing administration or a similar rol

Proficiency in Microsoft Officer and business systems Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality customer service.
Although it’s not essential, it would be outstanding if you had:
Relevant qualification in HR, Business, Training or Property Managemen

Experience or knowledge in housing, tenancy, HR or workforce developmen
- t
Current C class Drivers Licence Local Government Experience
