Front of House / Barista / Bar Staff

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Front of House team member to join our café, bar, and bistro. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced hospitality venue.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and qualified manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
- Prepare and serve quality coffee, tea, and other hot and cold beverages.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with RSA requirements.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
- Process cash and EFTPOS transactions.
- Clear, clean, sanitise, and reset tables to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.
- Wash dishes, glassware, and bar equipment as required.
- Clean and maintain the café, bar, dining areas, coffee machine, service stations, and customer amenities.
- Restock food, beverage, and cleaning supplies throughout the shift.
- Assist kitchen, bar,



and front-of-house staff during busy service periods.
- Support opening and closing procedures, including general cleaning and venue preparation.
- Upsell menu items and provide product recommendations.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety, and RSA requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and deliver an excellent customer experience.

About You:

- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, bar, or bistro is preferred.
- Barista experience is highly regarded.
- Current RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, proactive, and willing to assist team members wherever needed.
